A Music Festival for Brookline
BROOKstock II: Where the '60's Meet 2013
Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 7:30pm
Pine Manor College

$10 general; $5 students. Tickets at BMS (617) 277-4593 or at the door

Brookline Music School’s Rock/Jazz ensembles will perform music from the 1960’s, an amazing decade of American popular music, which laid the foundation for all that followed. Original music from Brookline's most promising young bands, singer/songwriters, and composers, such as Big Words, Next Best Western, Fluffington, and Bella Ortiz-Ren will also be featured. BROOKstock II seeks to contrast music from the 1960’s with music being created here and now by today's young musicians. The similarities and differences between the two will certainly shape an exciting and entertaining evening of live music.
